Legacy OptionÂ
This is a legacy option for utilizing templates for email communciation. For best results, check out our newest email template builder, "Drag-and-drop editor in the Templates tab."
Here's how to insert a built-in newsletter template into your message in the Email tab using this legacy option.Â
Step 1: Clear out the text
Did you already insert text into the Content area? If so, clear the text out so that the template can be inserted into a clean workspace.
Step 2: Click the template button
When you click the Insert Email Template button, the Template Library will display, allowing you to select from multiple built-in templates. Browse and select the one that works best for your scenario. Learn more about the Template Library at the end of this article.
Step 3: Expand your workspace
It’s much easier to see “the bigger picture” of your newsletter creation when you expand out your workspace. Click the 4 arrows button to expand your window to full screen.
Step 4: Edit newsletter and close out of full screen
- Insert your own logo with the image button.
- Change background colors by inserting updated hex codes into HTML.
- Insert a link.
- Change text, formatting, or alignment.
- For more advanced editing capabilities, select the < > HTML code icon.

Important Note
It is strongly suggested not to make any changes in this window unless familiar and comfortable with reading/editing HTML code.
Want to start over?
To quickly remove a template from your email workspace, click on the < > HTML button, select all, then delete. The workspace is now all clean and ready for a new template.
