Just because teachers can send messages to students, does not necessarily mean that they should have access to the student's private phone numbers or email addresses. Depending on your district or school's privacy policies, you may want to add or remove teachers' ability to view student contact information.
This article shows you how to adjust the setting that either allows or disallows teachers from viewing student contact information.

Step 1: Navigate to Settings > Global Settings
Step 2: Locate the setting
- Scan to find the Teachers section
- Check or uncheck the box next to "Allow teachers to view student contact information"
- Checking the box will allow teachers to view and have access to student contact information
- Unchecking the box means teachers will see a very limited view of each student profile without being able to see any contact details of the student.
