Create and send messages: Overview

Create and customize messages to send to recipients by phone, email, text, app, and social media. 

This article series walks anyone sending a message through everything they need to create and send a message from start to finish.

Before you start

The message creation workflow is split into three articles:

  • Part 1: Getting started

    Prerequisites, draft auto-save behavior, and the first three steps of message creation: adding a title, selecting recipients, and writing default content.

  • Part 2: Choose your delivery methods

    How to customize and send your message through each channel: email (with attachments and the editor toolbar), mobile app, SMS / text, voice, Facebook and X (Twitter), and RSS feeds.

  • Part 3: Delivery options and sending

    Translation, advanced options (sender organization, caller ID, delivery addresses, and more), emergency messages, and scheduling your send.
