Teachers and staff: Manage your delivery status levels

Did you know that you can set your contact information in your profile to either receive or not receive certain types of communication? This article will show you how it works!

 

 

This Help article provides teachers with step-by-step guidance on how to navigate and utilize the TeacherComms Enterprise area of Messages XR Enterprise for seamless communication.

 

Where can I find my delivery status levels?

Delivery status levels can be viewed and managed in your Account profile in the Account Info tab.
In the Delivery addresses section, find the Status column for each of your delivery method.

Click the symbol to learn more

You can learn more about a particular delivery status with regard to the action(s) taken by the user by clicking on the symbol in the Status column.

  • check symbol in delivery status.pngIf green/enabled, you can click to Disable this delivery method so that messages can no longer be sent to this address.
  • X symbol in delivery status.pngIf red X/disabled, clicking it will once again Enable this delivery method, making it available for use.

Delivery status level table

This table will show you the icons used to represent each delivery method’s status, as well as a description telling more about what this means.

Icon Description

enabled.png

Enabled

Available for use. Messages will be sent to address.

flagged.png

Flagged

Marked as a bad address based on delivery results. Delivery attempts will be limited.

disabled.png

Disabled

Not available for use. No messages will be sent to address.

invalid.png

Invalid

Invalid address format including phone numbers missing all ten digits or email addresses without @ symbols.

blocked.png

Blocked

Listed on the do-not-contact list.

Addresses are added by:

  1. Administrator manually adds the address on the do not contact list.
  2. Recipient unsubscribed from emails.
  3. Recipient texted STOP for SMS messages.
  4. Recipient called the opt-out hotline for phone numbers.

Deactivated

Phone number has been deactivated by the phone carrier.
