Understand your message code
SMS messages sent from your district or school may come from the following codes
- Outreach messages:
An assigned 10-digit long code (10DLC)
OR
- An assigned short-code 97178
- Emergency messages:
- An assigned short-code 53291
Opt-in to SMS messages
Text the following keywords to opt-in:
- START
- GO
- SUBSCRIBE
- RESUME
- JOIN
- UNBLOCK
You’ll receive a confirmation message once subscribed. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out from SMS messages
Text the following keywords to opt-out:
- STOP
- UNSUBSCRIBE
- CANCEL
- QUIT
- BLOCK
You’ll receive a confirmation message once unsubscribed.
