This guide provides a brief overview of Composer, Finalsite Enrollment, Mass Communications, Ask AI, our Mobile App, and CE products, along with links to their dedicated help centers to learn more.

Composer (CMS)

What it is: A powerful, drag-and-drop website builder designed specifically for schools. Composer makes it easy to create mobile-responsive pages, manage site history, and sync content across the Finalsite platform, no technical or coding skills required.

Finalsite Enrollment (EMS)

What it is: A comprehensive platform designed to manage the entire student lifecycle from the first inquiry to graduation. Finalsite Enrollment (formerly SchoolAdmin) automates the admissions and enrollment process with customizable checklists, online applications, and integrated tuition and billing tools.

CMS & EMS integrations and Leadflows

Did you know that there are two integration options available to clients with both Composer and Finalsite Enrollment?

  • CMS & EMS Integration: The integration with CMS sends contacts from EMS to CMS. In CMS, they are grouped by status so that you can use them to build communications and Workflows.
  • Leadflows: Contacts generated from a CMS form on your school's website can be converted into leads and prospects on the EMS side.

Mass Communications

What it is: These tools allow you to send "write-once, publish-everywhere" communications.

Ask AI

What it is: An intelligent, 24/7 conversational assistant for your school’s website. Unlike a simple chatbot, Ask AI uses your website's content to provide accurate, context-aware answers to parent and student questions instantly.

Mobile App & Chat

What it is: A school-branded mobile application that acts as a central hub for your community. It includes Chat, a two-way messaging tool for teachers, coaches, and parents. Some users are still being upgraded from the legacy mobile app.

Community Engagement (CE) product suite

What it is: A specialized suite designed for district-wide engagement, featuring three core components:

  • Connect: The engine for mass notifications, including automated attendance and lunch balance alerts. Connect (formerly Blackboard) is our legacy mass notifications product.   • Mass Notifications: The interface used to distribute emergency and daily alerts, now being upgraded to Messages XR Enterprise.
  • MCA (Mobile Communications App): The mobile interface for the CE suite.
  • Help Center: CE Support Center
